Creating a Sense of Place We invite you to join with others as we explore our need to create a sense of place. Why do we have this longing to reconnect with the wonder of nature? This concept comes from viewing the world around us...our place as a part of it, not apart from it and appreciating the circle that joins all of creation. We will look at the diversity of our own bioregion, as well as the benefits and importance of utilizing native plants that call this place home. Bring a drawing of your garden space (with sun & shade areas indicated) so we can look at ways to create your own sense of place. Facilitator: Kat Stratton, Director of Cedar Hill, is committed to living in harmony with Earth through spiritual and ecological awareness, as a gardener and Reiki II practitioner. Kat is certified as a Georgia Wildlife Federation Habitat Steward and Master Gardener. Saturday, May
