CEDAR HILL ENRICHMENT CENTER

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Cedar Hill is located about one hour north of metro Atlanta. It encompasses 18 acres of woodland with a native plant walking tour, pastures, gardens, and an outdoor labyrinth. The setting is simple and unpretentious, offering a place for reflection and solitude.

The renovated barn offers a gracious gathering space for up to 30 people. Massage rooms and full kitchen where vegetarian meals are prepared for guests are located in the barn. Guest quarters and a lending library are located in the renovated farmhouse.

Director
Kat Stratton, Executive Director, National Wildlife Federation Habitat Steward and Master Gardener, is committed to living in harmony with Earth through spiritual and ecological awareness. Her continuing devotion to wildlife habitats and native plants is reflected in workshops.

Co-Founders
The Co-Founders of Cedar Hill, Kathryn Cliatt and June Racicot, are Adrian Dominican Sisters who have lived and worked in North Georgia for more than 30 years. They have a passionate commitment to bringing earth-life into balance through the awakening and nurturance of the feminine.

Staff
Sherry Sabine, Marketing Director, has recently come on board with Cedar Hill. She has served the community of Forsyth County for years in environmental work. Her passion is to uncover new and better ways people may live sustainably on Mother Earth and in rhythm with Spirit.

Barbara Beert Bussard is a certified massage therapist, Reiki Master and yoga therapist. She studied Integrated Massage Therapy at the Atlanta School of Massage where she graduated in September 2001. The focus of her work is compassionate and prayerful, integrating Reiki into massage therapy sessions creating a loving and nurturing space for balance and healing.

Burma Parks is our chef, having been with Cedar Hill since its inception. She continually seeks to provide meals that are delicious and wholesome. Burma is active in the community and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Georgia Highlands Medical Service in Cumming.

Facilitators
Cedar Hill draws its teaching staff from a range of disciplines - spirituality, feminine theology, psychology, ecology, wellness work, movement, music and a blending of Eastern and Western thought.
